A home-grown kind of storytelling podcast.

THE TOWNIES EP. 05: OUR LITTLE PLEASURES

ABOUT OUR STORYTELLERS

Megan Bergkvist has been in Kim's storytelling class for many years. Thrilled to be on The Townies Podcast, Megan is putting her pieces together to create a one-woman show.

THE WHOLE ARBOLADA by Megan Bergkvist: Megan has been taking my class for almost as long as I’ve been teaching in Ojai. Over the last few years, she has been collecting her pieces for an equally hilarious and poignant one-woman-show about her life as a cancer survivor, coffee-shop owner, and occasional (okay, constant) over-thinker.

PSALM OF THE HIGH JUMPER by John Dobroth: A former Juvenile Court Judge in Ventura for many years, John was always known for his thoughtful and creative sentences. Now retired from the bench, he spends his time acting and writing, and even now... perfecting his high jump.

Julia Clark is very excited to be storytelling on The Townies Podcast.

THE WESTERN CAPE by Julia Clark: A world traveling beauty with a big heart, a longing for adventure and a spectacular laugh. Starting out six houses to the left of mine -- Julia now lives in Eugene, Oregon.

Musical Interlude by

Cathy Diorio is thrilled to be sharing her story on The Townies Podcast.

GODSPELL by Cathy Diorio: A musical theater loving New Jersey Native, this former Pepsi Cola executive seamlessly made the switch to all things Ojai, meditation and yoga. Now, with a specialized Masters from Pacifica, Cathy is a professional life-coach, a friend, and an Ojai Meadow walking partner.
