SH*T HAPPENS written & performed by Stella Slaughter with Ryan Beaghler: Two young Ojai-ans turned East Coasters for college, Stella and Ryan are excellent ambassadors for our little hamlet of a town. Although we miss them dearly. And they better move back when they graduate. Ryan. Stella. I’m serious.
PUPPY LOVE written & performed by Raksha Boiteau: Raksha hails from a long line of poets, activists, driving instructors and all-around good folk. With straight-A’s and an extraordinary sense of humor Raksha will breeze through her senior year at Oak Grove High School while simultaneously feeling awful about leaving me for college.
HOW TO MAKE IT IN THE STOCK MARKET written & performed by Tessie Goddard: A bookkeeping, ballet dancing, youth opera supporting, cat person and Mom -- Miss Tessie came to the US from the Philippines as an exchange student, fell wildly in love and stayed forever. Aside from class I see Miss Tessie and Bim -- her husband of 44 years regularly on my Ojai Meadow walk.
